If I had a grain of rice for every minute I have spent watching a progress bar over the years, I would be able to make you all a bowl of kedgeree. As it is, I shall cook you all up a weekly article instead.
Stephen Fry now has a geeky column in the The Guardian’s Saturday glossy.
Packages for Anjuta 2.2.2 were uploaded to Debian unstable yesterday. I also built packages for Ubuntu’s ‘gutsy’ and put them in a PPA on Launchpad. The packages currently available in ‘gutsy’ are liable to crash due to issues with the plugins. The sources.list line for these packages is:
deb http://ppa.launchpad.net/robster/ubuntu gutsy main universe
I’ve become addicted to two things on the intertron recently: the Cook (almost) Anything at Least Once Blog and The Guardian’s gallery of photos from the last 24 hours. Sadly there doesn’t appear to be a general link but there is a link on the front page for each day.
There was one photo that really caught my attention today: Ouch.

With sooper-dooper thanks to Samuel, Richard, Matthew and the space ape we now have Poky and Clutter up and running on the Logic i.MX31 LITEKIT. This ARM11 based development board features OpenGL ES 1.1 compliant hardware (based on Imagination’s MBX) which is now supported by Clutter’s EGL backend. Now we just need some more cool hardware to play with…
